Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

1.Manufacturer Warranties
All branded products sold by Decking World are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, subject to their specific terms and conditions. These warranties may vary between manufacturers and product types. Customers are encouraged to refer to the relevant manufacturer's documentation for full warranty details.

2. Warranty for Unbranded Products
Products sold under Decking World’s own branding (or otherwise not covered by a manufacturer's warranty) are covered by a standard 12-month warranty from the date of delivery or collection. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

3. What Is Covered
Warranties apply only to manufacturing defects and faults. Where a valid warranty claim is made, Decking World will, at its discretion, either:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the product (or part of it)

  • Provide a refund for the purchase price

4. What Is Not Covered
Warranties do not apply where damage or defects are caused by:

  • Improper installation or use

  • Accidents, impacts, or misuse

  • Failure to follow product instructions

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Environmental factors (e.g. saltwater exposure, UV degradation, weather) beyond what the product is designed to withstand

  • Modification or alteration of the product

  • Use of the product for purposes other than what it was designed for

5. Exclusions and Limitations
Decking World does not accept liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to:

  • Time lost

  • Labour or installation costs

  • Freight or return costs (unless otherwise agreed)

  • Loss of profits or productivity

  • Project delays or disruption

Our liability is limited solely to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective item as described above.

6. Submitting a Warranty Claim
To lodge a warranty claim, customers must email admin@deckingworld.au with the following details:

  • Full name and contact information

  • Order number and date of purchase

  • Description of the defect or issue

  • Photographic and/or written evidence clearly showing the fault

  • Any additional documentation (e.g. installation method or usage notes)

Claims should be made within the applicable warranty period, and Decking World will assess all claims in good faith.

7. Inspection and Evaluation
We may request the return of the defective product for inspection. If a product is deemed not to be faulty or if it is found to be damaged due to any of the exclusions listed above, the warranty claim may be rejected and return shipping costs may be at the customer’s expense.

8. Goods Damaged in Transit
Transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please inspect your delivery immediately and report any visible damage with photos to assist in lodging a claim with our freight partners. Transit damage reported after this period may not be accepted.
