H3 CCA F7 Treated Pine – Structural Sub-Frame Timber

This kiln dried, structurally graded softwood is purpose designed for sub-frame applications such as joists, bearers, plinths and pergola beams where long term strength and durability outdoors are essential.

What “H3 – CCA F7” Means

• H3 Hazard Class – treated for above ground exterior use where timber is exposed to the weather but can dry out between wetting cycles. Ideal for decks, verandas and garden structures. 

• CCA Treatment (Copper Chrome Arsenate) – preservative salts penetrate the wood cells, protecting against fungal decay, rot, termites and other borers for decades of service life.

• F7 Structural Grade – is a commonly specified stress grade that delivers sufficient bending strength and stiffness for residential decking frames and light structural work.
